Legal portal application is aiming to be able to track documents submitted to the Legal Division or a third party which in this case is the government. The submitted documents is associated with the cooperation contracts, licensing, filing new brand or brands renewal, legal opinion, and the statement and letter of authorization.

Business Issue

Internal legal division doesn't have application to track documents so it makes people who submitted legal documents difficult to track their documents and often occurs that the document that has been submitted being hampered due to manual system and people who submitted legal document doesn't know the status of document they submitted before

Business Solution

WGS helped in developing document tracking application to answer what client needs which run on top Ruby on Rails with SQL Server. This application intended to helped legal or non-legal user to be aware of the existence and status of the submitted documents

Lesson Learned

Document Tracking application could speed up processing of legal document and also non-legal document and each end could know the existence and status of the documents without being hampered with the system itself

Benefits

Non-legal user could know the status of the document that had been submitted previously and if the document was rejected or hold then the document would be returned to the user who submitted it. Legal user could processed the document to a third party such as a submission to the government
